Emotions Drift towards healing in Katrina Stories

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, November 7, 2008

"Swimming Upstream", a play written by a group of New Orleans women, reflects on the tragedy of Hurricane Katrina and explores their experiences through poetry and music.  The performance was created through a series of workshops at the Ashe Cultural Arts Center, and also features prominent actresses Phylicia Rashad, Jazmine Guy and Shirley Knight.
